I'm boycotting all American and European products today. But you can wait till tonight.

The zimbabweans are now digging gold to pay for bread. And America, Europe, and their like have still not written off third world debt. it is not idealism. It is justice. They deserve to be tried for mansluahgter and negligence every time they decide to let people die to keep their economy strong. it's time we did something more than bloggin about it. What do you guys say?

And why should they write off third world debt? They also have poverty, unemployment and all those problems(to a lesser extent) so isn't it unfair for the poor population of those countries for us to ask to write off our debts. And even if the debts are written off those countries will find another way to be indebted again.

If the debts are written off then what? Stop loans or continue to give free money to the third world? It is like asking banks to give free money to people because banks are wealthy and people are poor.

FYI, Blogger and Blogspot are American companies, owned by Google. This very post is probably residing on a server somewhere in California.

No it;s not because they are wealthy and the third world countries are poor but because:

1. it's accepted that international justice in its purest form means 1 person here gets as much as 1 person in another part of the world. So one person dying while another has too much is not fair.

2. Everyone in the third world countries should know to work and bring in leaders who will better their opportunties.

But the asians didn't go exploiting the resources of the west.

America*, Britain** and europe became powerful not through hard work, but by ethnic cleansing*, fighting pezceful inhabitants for their land**, and more often than not, robbing their natural resources**. So they showed us how to grow tea. How much more have they unfairly taken out than given these people? THE RESOURCES THEY HAVE THEY STOLE.

Now, they paint over their damage by doing things like buying cheap labour from us, and sending us "aid packages".

until their own citizens get these governments to be fair, the rest of us, who know what hunger is, but also know what food is, to stand up for these people.
